The first public event is for participants aged 18 or older. Confirm your age without supplying your date of birth.
Only targets explicitly identified for the event are in scope. Do not attack NUCA, CTFd, monitoring, SSH, other teams or unrelated services. Do not share flags or event access passwords with outsiders.
Registration and team enrollment close at the competition start. Solo players create a one-person team. Event-specific conditions and organizer announcements define permitted assistance, including AI use; authorization of a target is not permission to exceed its scope.
Using a NUCA account requires consent to public nickname, profile, roster and reviewed results, confirmed with a separate required checkbox when choosing a nickname to finish registration. Returning users are not asked again during sign-in. There is no private-profile account mode. Real names and emails are not part of the public standings. Results become final only after organizer review; corrections remain possible.
Certificate requirements are versioned by event. Legacy events require a personal answer submission for Participation and active participation with a top-three team placement for Achievement. In the new format, the whole admitted final team roster earns Participation when its team reaches the published points threshold; podium and Best Solo earn separate Achievement certificates independently of that threshold. Check-in is not required. A certificate is a community record, not a qualification issued by a university or an accredited credential.
